The Secret Of The UFOs

Though many researchers have speculated on the possibility of UFOs and their occupants being time travelers, few have written whole books devoted to exploring this idea. This is such a book. Mr. Davenport has compiled a number of UFO sighting reports that point toward an alternate hypothesis of the origins of these UFO occupants.

Davenport focuses on cases of "electromagnetic effects," impossible aerobatics, departures at incredible speeds, etc., to support his hypothesis that UFOs are 'nuts and bolts' craft which generate 'time-distorting fields' allowing both time travel and apparent rapid movement through space. He points out the implausibility of car stoppages being caused by EM effects, preferring to speculate:

"Could it be that both electric / magnetic and temporal effects are created by the fields surrounding UFOs? Could time-warping fields have electromagnetic side effects? Or are time warps themselves achieved via some type of electromagnetic forces?"

Some of the cases which lead Mr. Davenport to these speculations involve the quieting of external sounds during sightings (what Jenny Randles calls the Oz Factor) and the stopping of vehicles in a physical manner. For example, a Louisiana sighting where the witnesses sighted a UFO from their boat and, though the outboard motor was still running, it did not propel the vehicle through the water until the object departed and they were suddenly thrown down into the boat as it surged forward. What Mr. Davenport doesn't address is how humans seem to be able to move about within these fields. He does mention cases of human paralysis during UFO close encounters but these seem to be the exception, not the rule.

Davenport goes on to speculate a Time Travel Conspiracy reminiscent of the television series Time Trax. A reality populated by time hopping aliens, cops, and criminals. He proposes that the mysterious Men In Black are the clean up crews for this conspiracy; securing evidence, tying up loose ends, and convincing witnesses that the CFOs are extraterrestrial space craft in an effort to prevent us from knowing the "truth." He goes so far as to suppose that these time travelers have colluded with International governments in an effort to keep the public from discovering these time travel secrets.

It is a delight to read specifically because the author realizes his own limitations. He states that he is no scientist but feels that his suppositions allow for the scientific testing of his hypothesis. He draws from the wisdom of established researchers such as Dr. Jacques Vallee and journalist John Keel. Both of whom have long noted the UFOnauts obsession with time. For these reasons I highly recommend that all serious researchers and simple UFO buffs add a copy of this book to their library.
