Magazine Reviews
If we are ever going to reap the harvest available in
our own minds, we must begin to keep records of our experiences and explorations.
We also must share our insights with others. Because so much of the psychic
phenomena this journal is meant to investigate occurs within altered states
of consciousness, we should explore that ASC with which we have direct
day-to-day contact: the dream state.
Several publications attempt these important tasks, but
two in particular deserve your attention. They are:
Night Vision-A Dream Journal
PO Box 402
Questa, NM 87556
and
Dream Network Journal
1337 Powerhouse Lane Suite 22
Moab, UT 84532
Both have aided me in my exploration of the DreamTime,
and provided valuable research leads regarding personal interests in aspects
of both paranormal and UFO phenomena (although they are not paranormal
or UFO magazines). Specifically, articles on "Revisioning the Insect /
Human Connection" and "Tibetan Dream Yoga" in Dream Network (Vol. 12 #2)
as well as "Precognitive Dreams" and an interview with Lama Chime Rinpoche
in Night Vision (Vol. 5 #1).
Reading other people's dream accounts may trigger great
insight into your own dreams, and may encourage you to explore your inner
dimensions, including those realms we all share: Jung's collective unconscious
and its powerful archetypes. Record your dreams for your own good, as well
as for humankind!
