This issue brings a huge host of magazines and information resources that deserve your attention. Some of these periodicals may seem on the surface to be unrelated to the study of either UFOs or paranormal phenomena, particularly the ecological and pagan zines. If you have firmly caught the threads we are weaving within ELFis you will perhaps see the relevance.

The UFO phenomena was linked to such modern "social movements" as the sixties youth culture and emerging neo-paganism by researchers towards the end of the 1960s and into the 1970s. From the anti-nuclear messages of the 50s contactees to the ecological warnings recounted by the abductees of the 80s and now the paradigm shift/earth change prophecies of our post modern experiencers.

Besides all that, these are all around interesting publications to read whether interested in UFO connections or not.

The Green Man's latest editor is Diane Conn Darling. She used to be the editor a Green Egg. This is a fine pagan zine. I've always liked Green Egg for its breadth of scope and its attempts to bring together community through the Church of All Worlds. I was even more bemused to learn of Jacques Vallee's recent endorsement of the Egg as well.

These are focused primarily on UFO phenomena but also carry information and articles on related phenomena. Marc Davenport's Contact Forum is a well produced newsletter format while Vectors, Veils & Spectres is an actual news print publication. UFO Encounters is akin in format to the MUFON UFO Journal; slick black and white cardstock covered. At The Crossroads is by far one of the most interesting "new-comers" to the UFO scene. There has been an on-going dialogue on abduction research within the past three issues as well as accompanying articles on the paranormal, evolution, and shamanism. Check them out!
