“There's
a wire in my head...”
Tortorici is a man from nowhere. His only known address is a post office box in Schenectady. “Stop government experimentation!” he shouted at the crowd as he was removed from the scene.
As is to be expected, Tortorici demanded to speak with University officials, the governor, and President Clinton. More interesting is the fact that he had another student spray the hall with a fire hose because “he wanted to flood the university.” To cleanse it, perhaps? Or submerge it from view? Or perhaps it was to fecundate it, to re-create it in his own image.

Ironically, he was taken to Albany Medical Center for “treatment” after his capture.
Meanwhile, there have been numerous cult activities in
the media. Luc Jouret was leader of the international religious group known
as "Cross and Rose" and the "Order of the Solar Temple." Fifty members
were tragically involved in a massive murder/suicide ceremony perpetrated
across the Atlantic in both Canada and Switzerland. Robert Moody, the fellow
who allegedly killed two resident Arizona women at the behest of mind controling
aliens, has been deemed fit for trial by the court. There were also the
Japanese cult gas attacks and Oklahoma City bombing.
